VSIDO 32bit & 64bit ISO’s updated 12-DEC-2013 15:45 CST

VastOne

Both ISO's were updated, built, installed, tested and uploaded today with no issues all thanks to issues that hakerdefo raised while testing it - Thanks hakerdefo!

  • Updated to the latest UMPlayer and Mplayer
  • Installed libflashplayer.so so internet video works
  • Corrected the open file size issue by setting up gtkfilechooser.ini
  • Updated all applications to the latest SID levels

I have corrected the open file size by adding it to /etc/skel/.config/gtk-2.0/gtkfilechooser.ini with these settings:

[Filechooser Settings]
LocationMode=path-bar
ShowHidden=true
ShowSizeColumn=true
GeometryX=95
GeometryY=175
GeometryWidth=750
GeometryHeight=520
SortColumn=name
SortOrder=ascending
StartupMode=recent

Anyone needing that can copy those settings to /home/yourusername/.config/gtk-2.0/gtkfilechooser.ini

Current users can resolve by installing mplayer.  for libflashplayer.so, you will need to download the 32 or 64bit version from Adobe and put it in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Great!

Thanks VastOne. Was under the impression that 32 bit was being dropped. Glad to see it....I'm still a throwback for whatever reason.

I thought about it, but just followed the exact process building it as the x64 ISO (literally, using a script I built from the bash_history).  Turned out quick and fast

Some folks on the IRC made me see the errors in not having a x32 ISO, so I caved...  8)
