Had a hard time installing any distro on that T400 didn't you? Thinkpads seem to be problematic.
Surprisingly no! I did however have to beef up my wifi skills using stuff like netctl, wpa_supplicant, and dhcpcd command line tools. I've had less than pleasurable experiences over there at the forum, and almost equivalent when it comes to installing arch. This time was different though for some reason. It actually did go pretty simple. I even put it on a partition on the newer MSI. Was able to get wifi up with virtually no problems...

Back down to the 4.12 Kernel, which seems to run much cooler. That is however without the subwoofer.py file running that kicks in the DynAudio subwoofer built into the bottom of the lappy.

This one is a 17" so quite big and heavy. A true beast...
