Bugs question
« on: March 03, 2015, 08:55:35 AM »
I know that during the freezing both jessie and Sid are getting steadier that usual, but I cannot remember how many weeks ago I got the last bug report from apt-list-bugs and reportbug. Is this normal? I mean, I upgrade Vsido daily and not getting a single warning?

Good question Snap...

I am not sure if it is a matter of list-bugs having issues or if we are using apps that are so true that bugs are not happening... Or is it that folks are not reporting as much?

I will take a look and ask around and report... :)

Thanks, VastOne.

I'm not having breakages I'm aware of, but it feels weird there are no bugs at all...

Found this:

packages are still moving into testing. it's just that the number of RC bugs becames so low that only small packages got updated. if you want to get packages faster you can move into sid. it's now safe to use sid since it only accept bug fixing updates.

I guess it will get somewhat crazy when Jessie becomes Stable and a flood of new packages coming in all at once. So let's enjoy these peaceful days.  8)
