A fresh install from the new ISO utilizing systemd as the new default init system.  Phenomenal boot times, as well as shutting down in about 2 seconds!

^ Very nice jedi!

Taking it up a notch... VSIDO latest release with systemd and the 3.13 kernel

I did it like this

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-3.13-trunk-amd64
sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.13-trunk-amd64
sudo update-grub

^ Git is part of the vsido-welcome.  I would really like to include it but it has a mass amount of dependencies that makes the ISO quite a bit larger

What's it pulling in for dependencies these days, a bunch of -dev files? I installed it with some other apps so I didn't pay too much attention to the deps. Edit - never mind, looked it up.

Back on topic; got the orange to point I can deal with for now. Basically a port of the numix gtk3 theme:

Sometimes a screenshot just says it all...

GMusicBrowser with a cool feature ... just clicking the album cover gives you all the Artist file list to play or manipulate

Can anyone say "less than 3 minutes"?  Look at the upper left hand corner where it says Uptime!

@vastone - nice shot:

setting up smplayer - I forgot about the YouTube plugin. Also reconfiguring my apps file to get better use from tabbing. Moved the tabs to right side and turned off the titlebar - not sure how long it will last. Edit - added one of fluxbox as maximized, tabbed windows - i3-esque.
