Dropping in to Play!

sqlpython

 Hello People..
How did I miss VSIDO's start up in January ?
I must have been sleeping at the keyboard.
  I caught VastOne's latest VSIDO Fluxbox SCROT on #!  { Drool }
Really like using Sid and have done so for a couple of years, Together with Testing and Stable.
Sid and Testing Users, I have found, are really into their OS. This commutes into good understanding of the OS and a User base who has a Good knowledge base.

Looking forward to using VSIDO 64bit.. .DING!  Ahh! just finished downloading the ISO time to burn it!

Welcome to VSIDO sqlpython, the community just got stronger!

I agree with what you said about SID and Testing users ... and as I am sure you have read, I set out on this mission with the prime directive being to show that SID is stable and a viable solution and that it can look awesome

Let me know what you think of it as you progress and of course point out anything that can or should be done better

I have had some discussions with machinebacon about a better installer... I have no issue with the current installer (it is simple and blazing fast) but it does lack some things for some users... Bacon has indicated he is working on a universal installer for any Linux distribution, that is something I am looking forward to ....

Good luck!

Welcome sqlpython!

Glad your here!

I agree 100% with both of you. I think for most of us that use anything other than "stable", the goal is to learn something as we are going along.

I found it from #!.  You really can't go wrong with Debian based systems.

Thank You @lwfitz .. wait your a mod here.. err Sir! that is  .. :)

@hinto .. Gotta Agree with you. Doing this Linux thing since 1995. Started with Slack_95 and then Debian.
I look and Play and Experiment but for me it all boils down to in some form of  Debian & Slackware ..
Always interesting to try another Base but you come back to the Best.
