Hi Folks

me again I have been trying for days to get the morse code program Aldo to run with no success. i have downloaded ./ configured make and make install it but still can't get it to run. i have added the libao file that it required as well. any ideas please totally lost myself. not surprisingly really with me  :D

Aldo is in the sid repositories. You should use apt to install it. That will get the dependencies and configure it.

First either uninstall the version you installed or move/rename the binary to something like aldo.old

Thanks for that working now but not what I expected. Didn't realize that it was command line driven was expecting a front end to it. Just like me not to work things out correctly  :D :D

Good to know someone who will be able to communicate during this coming pandemic!  VSIDO and morse code is all the world will need to carry on!
