VSIDO Installer Question

The issue I originally posted about couldn't (or shouldn't)  be related to gparted because the installer isn't even getting to the drive configuration page. It just stalls out......

I've had the installer hang on the drive configuration page. Select the layout, then nothing. Had to exit the installer, partition the drive, then re-start the installer.
