A hero of mine in the 60's and 70's when it was very uncool to be a white boy rooting for a black man...

I have always thought that Ali was as important as anyone during the Civil Rights movements.. He did not always convey it the way some wanted him to and that was what made him the man he was. He knew media and how to control it a long time before anyone else did.

I am grateful to have known such a hero...

I still remember when we as kids, got woken up in the middle of the night to watch him live. 3AM or something :)

Muhammad Ali was the one who's brought boxing to the forefront...he will be missed  :'(
