maim screenshot utility
slop selection utility
unfortunately, neither are in the Debian repos; but the listed dependencies are.

Thanks, PackRat. I think I've tried those two in Arch at some point. But I don't remember a thing a bout them, good or bad. Time to go over them once again.

What do you use for taking video of your screen?
I tried a few scripts lately but Simplescreenrecorder is the only thing that works for me, the scripts did work but only for video no sound.
