My "New Direction Thought"; This feels ready for official Vsido release. Worked well live, installed it, no problems. If there should occur something I`ll post about it of course. Thanks, VastOne & "staff testers", great work!

VastOne, just do what you feel is the right thing to do for you, you are after all the maintainer.   :)

Eminem -"Berzerk", single, through Spotify, that I got working after scratching my head for a while.

Tried some different cds, just to be sure, nothing. Threw in a disc with mp3 files, no problem at all. UMPlayer played willingly. File manager had no problem with mp3 files either. Copied them to the music folder, everything OK. What to do to get file manager to mount the cd so it is possible to copy it to hd? But on the +side of things, I got Spotify working  :)

Edit; Have read up a bit on the subject Debian and audio cds. Tried it in  #!, Vlc played, Thunar copied, it took a while to copy but that`s ok since it were only one cd. I have no intention of ripping hundreds of cds, just wanted to check if it were possible.

@PackRat; In fact it were the latest cd by Donald Fagen, "Sunken condos", that puts a big smile on my face when listening to it. Thanks for trying anyway. Will investigate further tomorrow.

Tried to change the settings in UMPlayer, nothing. When trying to mount in SpaceFM I got;

udevil: /dev/sr0 is known to mount - running mount as current user
udevil: warning 45: options ignored for device in fstab (or specify mount point)
mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only

General Support / Failed to mount "Audio Disc"

"Location is not mountable". That was the message I got when trying to open the cd with the file manager. Tried to play the cd with UMPlayer, nothing happened when clicking on the "Audio cd" choice in the menu. Do I need to install a package, or is it something policykit related that needs changing?

I have personally no need for uefi stuff, and have no possibility to test it atm, but am looking forward to hear from someone who has. Well...sooner or later...I will probably need it  :'(  Thanks for including it VastOne.

I use it sometimes, but adding  it to the welcome script is a great idea.

The Grub screen turned up today after a dist-upgrade, very cool!

Aaaah...sorry did not see them, this install is squeezed in between two others...so I choose from a regular boring blue. But I am sure they are nice since I know that you have a special eye for the visual. But I just want to mention that the installer worked really well this time. Did try to install a couple of months ago ca, and failed, the installer were having a bad day, and so had I :D. Well that does not matter now, last time I ran Vsido it were really surprisingly stable, even during the Debian meltdown, so am looking forward to continue my journey after my hiatus :)
