Have been off Vsido for quite a while, been busy with life and other sid stuff. Yeah ok I were a bit disappointed when OB were dropped, since it is my favorite VM. The decision behind that is understandable and I `ve got no problem with it. I am here as proof  ;D And I missed you guys! Well decided to check out how Vsido were doing so downloaded this iso and.... looking better than ever before, I think that you really have hit the distro jackpot with this VastOne. Installed in a virtual box for the moment to get to know again, because I do not want to upset my setup at the moment. So we will see how long it will take before I hit the install button :)

General Support / apt report grave bugs of apt(solved)
November 29, 2013, 10:26:57 AM
Have been a naughty boy for a couple of days and neglected my VSIDO install. So when going for a dist-upgrade today I got this:

grave bugs of apt (0.9.12.1 → 0.9.13) <Outstanding>
#730490 - apt: invoking dpkg no longer respects APT::Keep-Fds

Googled the bug report but did not really get it. Anyone that knows if it is something important?

PS Got also this grave bugs of cups-browsed (1.0.34-3+b1 → 1.0.41-1) <Resolved in some Version>
#730720 - cups-browsed: severe memory leak in 1.0.41-1 (Fixed: cups-filters/1.0.41-2)
serious bugs of cups-filters (1.0.34-3+b1 → 1.0.41-1) <Resolved in some Version>
#730709 - cups-filters: fails to upgrade from 'wheezy' - trying to overwrite /usr/share/cups/ppdc/pcl.h (Fixed: cups-filters/1.0.41-2)

But sine printing not is a priority on my VSIDO install that does not bother me.DS

64 bit up and running, everything ok.  Big + for the autohide default settings of the bottom dock, and the desktop margins.

Do you want to continue? [Y/n]

Why remove spacefm? And all those new packages, why? Is there an upgrade warning thread here that I by any chance have overseen/forgotten? Normally I do not worry that much about d-ugd, but it looks weird to me. I have not said "Y" yet,
wanted to check with you guys first.

Looking very good PackRat.

Great review jedi, and I agree with what is there to test? everything is just a smooth ride. Maybe an occasional small bump in the road, but no crashes with fatal injuries. And thanks for that  :)

@VastOne, apologies accepted. You know, "There is nothing like the smell of a fresh install in the morning".  ;D

Decided to start afresh... once again... ::)

Feedback & Suggestions / Velociraptor blazeback

Great work VastOne, love it, just want to mention a couple of things. I had to install Obmenu, and crosschecked against the package list in "New Direction...", it is not there. Installed Spotify, but had to pull libnss3-1d from experimental to get it working. This new improved Vsido is very to my liking, a good choice of default applications, which is a matter of taste and very easy to change. If/when I find some more mentionable stuff, I`ll be back. Thanks again, regards blaze  :)

Edit; this regards the iso of 150913, I saw you had yet another one today.
