Would been cool if there was a way to set this up on a UEFI system perhaps with a script to run to then mount the EFI partition after the fsarchive has been successfully restored and then install the grub EFI packages and set it up to boot.Hey Dayze, good to see you.. I believe PackRat and Jedi have talked about that and possibly have come up with a solution.
In your scenario does the UEFI system already have grub on it? If the answer is yes then wouldn't a update-grub on that system then find the VSIDO install and then you could manipulate grub from there whatever way you wanted to, right?
Quote from: lwfitz on February 24, 2021, 06:13:49 AMMaybe then someone familiar with it might be of help in showing VastOne how to set it up to work with Vsido.
Fuck this makes me sad......
I don't comment much anymore but I'm always lurking.Quote from: VastOne on December 28, 2020, 06:15:26 PM
I appreciate that DeepDayze and really if I find an installer I will carry this on
Siduction just released a new version using the Calamares (spelling?) installer. That would likely usable for you

Which installers have you looked at?
Any familiarity with the Xebian Project??
It uses the Debian installer for a Sid install (I successfully installed it to metal the one time I tried). You can hit that code tab and see their configuration.
I tried getting a Sid build/iso from a Debian live-build setup. Someone else did the heavy lifting to set up a Debian stable system. But the build process would always fail. Maybe you can spot the tweak needed to get Sid to successfully build.

While I don't comment here nearly as much as I used to, I very proudly have used VSIDO since I found VastOnes post on the Crunchbang forums....... That was a long time ago!
I run my business with it, have had a few customers move from Ubuntu, one from Windows and love it as much today as I did the day I fisrt installed.
Happy birthday VastOne!

Hello Vger and everyone! Doing a drive-by and decided to post a screenie of Crowz Fluxbox with Vsido configs! Well almost not quite for my daily driver! Running Devuan Ceres (unstable), been on my machine a long while, from ascii to beowulf and ceres over the last 6 months and not even a hiccup!
No wallpaper, just my old zephyr alchemy symbol for "air"!
cheers

For gtk3?
There is darK (gnome-look) - that also has a nice icon theme to go with it. And Dobbie over at ArchLabs had put together some nice dark themes. His themes and the default ArchLabs themes are nice.
Or do you want a dark fluxbox theme? At box-look.org there are tin-black, noir, and the elfin series (elfin2 has a glitch, I believe). There is also the tenr fluxbox style site.
