Just a wall I've been playing with still not sure it's the final version yet.

I use smxi which does dist-upgrade but have been running it every couple of days.
It seems that upgrades are coming more frequently now that Wheezy has become stable.

^ Hey I like him too!  ;D
Considering I have live just outside of Jackson and have met and talked with Johnny and Ms. June before they passed away.
Here's a tribute to them.

General Support / Re: Dual boot and grub 2

Absolutely as PackRat and lwfitz stated above if dual booting with Windows install it first.
You can reinstall grub back to the mbr with most live cd's if you install Windows after because it WILL bork your boot loader.
However since your dual booting Wheezy (I'm assuming on one HDD) just install grub to the the root partition of your Wheezy install then boot as normal.
Your new install won't show up in the grub menu until you load your main install and run sudo update-grub, then reboot and your new install will be listed in the grub menu.
Hope this helps.

I saw this wall on PackRat's post HERE.
So I asked if he could send me the wall or link and he did (thanks PackRat).
However the color was wrong and I had to make things fit my favorite distro.
So I twisted things to better suit my mood...

And named it PackRat_Twist.

I've done it with Win 7 on a separate internal HDD with no issues.

@PackRat
Can you post this wall or a link to it?
I'd like to play with it a little.

@vastone - nice one.

I'll see your scrot and raise you one conky:

The Tao phrase is using a semitransparent lua background, the weather uses conky argb settings so that it will be transparent with a compositor - compton in this case. Same one line system info conky that I've used for years. Fluxbox, VSIDO.

VSIDO News & Announcements / Re: Liquorix Kernel 3.9-7.dmz.1

I upgraded yesterday.
Seems to be running a little cooler but not back down to where I like it.
I'm running an ECO liquid cooler and clean the radiator fins about once a month.
If the next few kernel upgrades don't drop things down more it might be time to freshen my thermal paste.

Thanks VastOne.
It's really been nothing critical, I was just wondering...
...And since I happen to love this distro and trust your word more than our elected officials.
Enough said!  :D

Anybody else noticing higher cpu usage and temps running the last two kernel upgrades?
Especially when streaming or just playing videos.

Considering SID is Debian's unstable redheaded stepchild that VastOne has calmed into a very nice OS.
I revised one of my old favorites in honor. Click HERE for the png.
