General Support / Re: Live-Config issues on Stock ISO
August 29, 2018, 08:21:08 PM
At the risk of a necrobump ;)
I have had the same issue trying to build a new version of dwmX 'distrolette'

https://sourceforge.net/projects/dwmx/

I started with a fresh minimal Debian Buster install...BUT...[using REFRACTA tools]
Burning an ISO of my development  distro the new ISO boot paused for +/-12 minutes [WTF  ???]...at the end of boot...with the same message as per head of thread.
I am now trying to build a new version on Devuan and so far I have built a pre-alpha 'dwmXdev' version with sysvinit, boots no issues, to a modest 160MB RAM @ idle.

Any feedback welcome  ;)

Keep up the great work team  8)

Hi VastOne,
Mr.Bacon is really cool.
So far, I have been learning the basics of distro(lette) construction...work in progress.
I would like to move to a Sid base so I am planning a dwmX config based on Sid with BBQ base+roast your own 'stuff'...
I have had problems generating a Sid based dwmX with Refracta...does not compute Man  ???
I want to run the development of dwmX 'wheezy' and 'sid' in parallel and that is in the pipeline....

Time, of course, is the enemy!  ::) ...too many night shifts recently...destroying my Karma...

I will try and keep you updated...

VSIDO is rocking as per usual - keep up the great work Man  8)
