Title: fontconfig-config
Post by: Gordon on February 22, 2014, 12:21:25 PM
I had an error message this morning while running smxi regarding an error over fontconfig ( error 100 ). Afer a lot of reading and with no idea what I was doing I ran

dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/fontconfig-config_2.11.0-3_all.deb

and it seems to have fixed it as I had tried to install transmission which it wouldn't do but has now done so. Is there anything else that |I should do ?
I also seemed to have switched kernel to 3.13.4.towo-siduction-amd64 done by accident I assure you but I am ok with this as I was going to switch from liqorix to see if there was any difference anyway. :)

The essence of linux ...  :D

Are all your fonts available now and looking like they're supposed too? Try some of your other apps - like your word processor - and make sure it's all good.

Hi PackRat,

Thanks for the reply, all fonts appear to be OK so assume all are working  :)
