Title: Latest ISO download
Post by: Gordon on September 15, 2013, 07:02:06 PM
HI

I am having trouble with the latest 32bit download. All I get is

Not Found
The requested URL /debian/vsido_v1-2_3.10_Kernel_i386.iso was not found on this server.

I get the same message using wget as well.

Any help or ideas why please ? :(

Thats because right now the ISO's are updating... In about 10 minutes I will have the correct links and updated page

Sorry about the issue Gordon, just give me a minute more...  ;)

Hi VastOne

Well Got there in the end and it is working OK. I've got version 2 but I think I was trying for the experimental version in the first place. Don't know if they are the same or not. Installing it has caused me a problem though, I now have to find out how to update the grub on crunchband which is using LVM and this doesn't seem to pick it up.Something else for me to have a go at :-)

Ahhh.... one package I forgot to include...  Thanks for the reminder Gordon

just run

sudo apt-get install lvm2

and rerun your grub updates and all should be good

Thanks for pointing that out

Hi VastOne,

Thanks for that. Everything in the garden is rosy now all back working OK. Been trying out Fluxbox but am having trouble understanding how to alter the menu at the moment, luckily for me it has a default that it returns to when you get it wrong for me every time at the moment but I will get there in the end

Cheers for now and keep up the most excellent work that you do for us all  :)

Thanks Gordon...

There is a Fluxbox Menu Editor in the Fluxbox Menu... it works really well
