I just tried a new install of VSIDO v1-2 here, over top of an old one.
I told the Live Installer to use:
/dev/sda - I only have the one.
- /dev/sda1 - /root - format to ext4
- /dev/sda2 -/home - do not format!
Worked like a champ and not even a hiccup from Dropbox - yes I had to tell it I had an account and to use the old settings, but it is there.
Next I'll burn VSIDO Liquorix ISO to a CD/DVD and install that over my OLD VSIDO "Net Install" (sda6 & 7) preserving home just for fun. I'll still need to SMXI it to get a liquorix update and NVIDIA going.
And saying that why have a Liquorix version if 'smxi' is still needed to update it and get video drivers?
just a thought rumbling around in my head.
I don't think I have installed 1 distro so many times before - and I've NEVER had a quad boot system before, let alone with one Distro. All my 'dual' boot system were always 2 different Distros.
This ALPHA TEAM Member is doing what he can to break VSIDO on install - I can't.
