Title: add-apt

hi fokks

tried running this

add-apt-repository


and all i get is this

add-apt-repository: command not found


what hive i got wrong this time.
Trying to get ppa:phablet-team/tool
to try and sort out a damaged samsung s4 mini phone. have tried on windows (yuk) but cant find a bin file.. think I have foud one using VSIDO though so thought i might give it a go on here

I think that is an Ubuntu or derivative specific file. The ppa repositories are like their user base contributions.

I don't think Debian even has ppa, and when you add one to your apt sources, you usually break your system real quick.

Usually you can go to the ppa directly and download the file you need. If it's just a bin file to communicate with a phone, you might be ok running it.
