Always blues...
New Kernel seems pretty sweet so far. Using Nvidia. You can see the temps. (pc that is, the weather still mostly sucks)
UEFI Lite VISIDO boots fine. Haven't used the computer much this year. I'll try out the 25May efi ISO soon...

Two things I've learnt following this thread is @PackRat loves photography and he is very good at it 8)
BTW Firefox spellchecker (English-US) is complaining about the word "Learnt"? Is it an uncommon word in American English?
Cheers!!!
It's been a hobby since I was 12 - a long time ago in galaxy far, far, away. Although everything is digital now, I miss having access to a darkroom and working with film.
"Learnt" as in "I learnt geography in seventh grade."; that is old American English and somewhat uncommon - almost like slang now. Still hear it a lot where I live (South Carolina). Sort of a Southern colloquialism. You'll hear it a lot when actors or comedians are playing/mocking rednecks who are typically southerners.
The proper word now is "learned".
back on topic -

@PackRat What camera do you use now-a-days? And do you use any application for post processing?
And "Learnt" is still very common in British English! I usually stick with the defaults (U.S. English in this case) and this triggers spellchecker from time to time even on correct spellings. My favorite one is "Favourite" :D
Cheers!!!
I just use some basic digital cameras. The one is getting kind of old, due for an upgrade on that. Digital SLR is out of price range right now. For film, I use to use a Minolta X570 and X700. Also and old SRT201 which was my first SLR.
No post processing. I mostly do outdoor photography and just try to get into position for the lighting. End up deleting about 90% of the shots at the end of the day.

Some of us prefer the old English spellings and I for one use them whenever and wherever I can.. It is good behaviour.. 8)

These are alternative forms of the past tense and past participle of the verb learn. Both are acceptable, but learned is often used in both British English and American English, while learnt is much more common in British English than in American English.
We learned the news at about three o'clock.
They learnt the train times by heart.
This is the problem I have in oz, all my system settings are usually us. So I get picked up by the spell checker all the time.
And us keyboards are the default here.

I did my Master's thesis in Ontario, Canada and have worked for several Canadian and Australian mining companies over the years. I automatically use "favourite", "colour", and "metre" in technical reports and letters.

Monsoon season (actually Atlantic Hurricane Season began June 1 this year). Getting in some zen time at the lake before the afternoon thunderstorms rolled in:

Worst time of year around here - 90F (33C) and 90% humidity. Gnats ate us alive at the park.
^ Classic pix.. looks like a lot of fun.. good to see RatMan.. 8)
With all the political turmoil going on all around us, seeing these simple pleasures are comforting
1+ I couldn't agree more!
Simple pleasures and good honest values.

Tinkering with the gradients on tint2 panel - can't quite the padding right at 28 pixel width panel:

Been trying for about 2 weeks to get a shot of the green dragonflies (female eastern pondhawk) that inhabit my back yard. This one finally cooperated.
@PackRat Great clicks there!!!

What is the total time now - approx. 2 minutes to install and approx 5 min. to restore your configs/data from an fsarchive? That's crazy.

I use xpdf since I usually just have to read the occassional pdf - seldom have to print. No bloat, gtk3 headaches, or remembering vi-like key bindings. Old school is the best school 8)
