Title: Bad sig errors
Post by: mrneilypops on January 26, 2013, 02:29:44 PM
Hoping you can help.
I am getting bad sig errors on a fresh VSIDO install.
I get this error on both US and DE repositories.

Reading package lists... Done
W: GPG error: http://ftp.de.debian.org sid InRelease: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG AED4B06F473041FA Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key (6.0/squeeze) <ftpmaster@debian.org>
W: GPG error: ftp://ftp.de.debian.org sid InRelease: Could not open file /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/ftp.de.debian.org_debian_dists_sid_InRelease - RunGPGV (2: No such file or directory)

Have you added any additional repos to sources?

I think it is a timing issue above anything and should clear itself eventually.

I would try to run apt-get update until they clear.

You can also try using http instead of ftp

Finally try this:

sudo rm -f /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.us.debian.org*

sudo apt-get update

it should fix the problem for you

Hi VastOne,
No additional repos added.
I have tried your suggestion but error remains.
I will keep trying...
No big deal at the moment as I have almost finished my install.
smxi got me to the latest liquorix kernel  8)
