Title: Any sort of Vsido repo or cloud?
Post by: Snap on July 07, 2015, 08:46:09 AM
The boss has been doing a lot of changes within the last releases such as the new muz and pmytd default app, the new ceni welcome/warning, the guest additions and sysvinit removal, etc... I wonder if shouldn't we have some sort of repo or at least a cloud to have all those scrpts, tools and goodies together and on hand for the users wanting to tweak their systems to match the changes, or some of them. We can always download the last isos and dive into the guts to find the needed stuff or changes, of course. But what about making it a bit more reachable? Maybe a dedicated repo is a bit too much for this.

Perhaps only a forum section with the needed links, files and howtos would be enough. In any case, making the new stuff and/or changes more reachable.

What you think guys?

I wouldn't mind to keep such a forum section up to date if you want it that way.

Thanks for this Snap...

I usually post all changes to VSIDO and have just gotten lazy... I do like the idea of a forum area just about changes

I will post all the recent  changes just recently and then we can sort out the forum needs

I have setup a specific area for VSIDO Changes (http://vsido.org/index.php?board=29.0) and added the most recent changes to that section

@Snap - will this do for what you are wanting to see?
