Title: IgnorantGuru put SpaceFM on indefinite hiatus
Post by: hakerdefo on May 04, 2014, 06:20:12 PM
He announced this news six days back. I guess this was inevitable after Debian's move to systemd. Here is the link to his post,

If SpaceFM and udevil are not going to be developed with compatibility to systemd in mind where does that leave Vsido ?

Switch to another file manager ?

Someone fork SpaceFM for systemd ? (not me)

I believe both SpaceFM and udevil are safe and stable and plan on no changes to anything new

I also think IG will return in the future and that he will also help should there be any massive issues with each

Thank you for the concerns!

At risk of jumping on a dead thread.

Wow, losing a person of that energy and ingenuity is like Debian losing an appendage.  What a bummer!  Thanks for posting that link, useful for us late-comers.
