I had an error message this morning while running smxi regarding an error over fontconfig ( error 100 ). Afer a lot of reading and with no idea what I was doing I ran

dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/fontconfig-config_2.11.0-3_all.deb

and it seems to have fixed it as I had tried to install transmission which it wouldn't do but has now done so. Is there anything else that |I should do ?
I also seemed to have switched kernel to 3.13.4.towo-siduction-amd64 done by accident I assure you but I am ok with this as I was going to switch from liqorix to see if there was any difference anyway.

Are all your fonts available now and looking like they're supposed too? Try some of your other apps - like your word processor - and make sure it's all good.

Thanks for the reply, all fonts appear to be OK so assume all are working
