i aint typing all that stuff again...

It's a new lappy.  Thinkpad X1 Extreme (2nd Gen) 32 GB of RAM a 1 Terabyte SSD drive and an Intel Core i7-9750H @ 12x 4.5GHz.

Debian sid the long way (trixie/sid) working flawlessly!  (via Buster 11 to Bookworm 12 to trixie/sid) Easy peasy.  GMB and Pithos, what more do you need?  Oh yeah the spacefm look and feel from VSIDO!  Using Cinnamon desktop.  Some XFCE4 tools.  Other things from the VSIDO pkg list...

An anonymous friend of mine bought a $360 US dollars 'Vsee Box' that gets like 30,000 channels in perpetuity. He was some pissed off when I showed him VSIDO Linux could also play around the same amount!!! (Give or take a thousand, I'm not counting them all) The channels are from all over the world.

He brought this new device he bought over to my house and I noticed when it powered on it had a splash screen that said 'Android TV'.  I knew right then he'd wasted his money and could've done the same thing with VSIDO.  Once I started reading and researching, sure enough, I've been able to view multiple channels at once like being in a sports bar.  PPV, VOD, Tele Series, old and new movies, you name it, it's there!
