SpaceFM freezes

Un-group it and see if you re-create the issue if that doesn't mess up your work flow too much.

Done. I can live with it for a while.

It is definitely unique whatever you have snap.. I have SpaceFM open nearly all day long and cannot get it to crash

What version of debian/VSIDO/Whatever are you using?  I am curious if you can replicate this on a live boot of either VSIDO or Lite-VSIDO

Same here. The two windows opened nearly at all times are SpaceFM and urxvt running a tmux session. The other GUI stuff comes and go.

It's a LinuxBBQ spin (Bork 64) with sysvinit/OpenRC and the antiX Sid repo enabled to help keeping some cruft away... You know what I mean. 

I was thinking about that. I'll install Vsido on metal and try to somewhat replicate my system to see what happens.
