  • Updated to latest Debian SID kernel – 4.0.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.0.8-2 (2015-07-22)
  • Updated GMusicBrowser to latest git version
  • Updated Tint2 to version 0.12
  • Corrected an issue with sfetch (screenfetch) … I am still working on archey to correct those
  • Updated all applications to the latest SID levels

  • Removed sysvinit and made sure systemd and systemctl are the absolute defaults on installation and booting
  • Removed several applications that had deprecated or were not needed (d-feet and tea)
  • Updated to the latest version of ceni that solves the missing Hardware Interfaces
  • Updated all applications to the latest SID levels

  • Updated to latest SID kernel Debian (4.0.2-1 (2015-05-11)
  • Updated GMusicBrowser to the latest git levels
  • Updated all applications to the latest SID levels

After a long delay due primarily to the release of Jessie, things have ramped up within SID and at the same time the kernel updates slowed to a crawl.  The 4.0 kernel has finally arrived

This release does not work on the current version of VirtualBox (4.3.28r100309) at least on my build systems.  I would appreciate anyone trying on your setup of V-Box and giving any feedback
