It's actually a nice app.

You can theme/configure it from the command line or set defaults in .Xresources.

Still messing around. Have tint2 set up as icons only so it acts as a pager/icon box of sorts:

@PackRat, love that wall...
The Pixar animated short film with the birds on the telephone lines is what it reminds me of...

Nothing special. Just my first shot, trying to get it a little more like I want it :)

Yes, I have temporarily disabled compton, as it is just bloat to me  :P

^ Nothing special?  I call bullshit!

That is excellent ew, thanks for creating and sharing it...

Not sure how compton is bloat, but as you wish!

You should link your tint2 config and any other (conky) settings

Well done!   8)

Very cool PakRat

If your ears were burning today, I was talking about you on the IRC channel today... and everyone agrees...

Paraphrasing:

what I think is awesome is PackRats knowledge of FluxBox.. and how easily he helps ppl with it
he is a smart guy with the WM's
not just fluxbox
indeed
incredibly bright
and yeah, he helps everyone

I want to publicly thank you here as well, we appreciate all that you do!

Thank you

I have a wife and two kids; my ears are always burning    ;D

Otherwise, no problem, thank you for providing the community with VSIDO and the forum.

back on topic; after two years or so, a new version of jwm was released last week:

Never really gave this wm a go; but it's light and snappy. If I can figure out how to manipulate window resize and move incrementally with key bindings I may keep it around for a while.

Configuration and theme are done in a single configuration file in xml format (like openbox) and default is to have a button on the tray for "show desktop" (ew's ears are burining now   :D)

Why ?
Xfce4-terminal has drop down and is already in Vsido.

@jeffreyC...
I knew xfce4-terminal 'could' do the drop down effect, just never tried hard enough to make it work I suppose.  Guake is for the lazy!  (namely me!)
