No problem; it's from their first (second?) album before Steve Perry become the front man. Always preferred their early sound.

^ They were a lot like the bands in that era where multi singers were the norm... Think of Chicago and "What a Big Surprise" and "Searchin" before Peter Cetara learned he had a voice or Starship with both male and female leads

I like the originals as well, Perry was almost a backup in this song but took over completely soon after and they became a monstrously successful band

Has Chicago been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet?

No .. and neither have The Cars which I think is an even bigger omission because they crossed over several genres ...

Here is a good list of the snubbed ones

That is quite the list. Granted, not everyone can go in, but there are way too many influential bands on that list that haven't even been nominated.

This could be interesting - http://variety.com/2014/music/news/pink-floyd-new-album-tweet-1201258379/

hope it's not some release so they can make some bucks in their senior years.

^ According to everything I have gleaned from the various release notes, this is material that David and Richard Wright worked on several years before Richards death and influenced heavily by Richard Wright's own work.  This work was done in 1994, Wright died in 2008

Sounds more like a tribute to a lost mate and I have a good inkling that Gilmour will not fail in delivering a great piece of work

Yes indeed...sad...they're all gone now.

Their energy level was insane. Regret that I never actually got to see them, especially as I live in the NYC area, their spawning ground.
