  • Removed necessity for sysvinit by resolving the live-config requirements.  The solution was to install live-config-systemd replacing live-config-sysvinit which allowed for the complete removal and dependency of sysvinit in VSIDO
  • Updated all applications to the latest SID levels

downloading now to update my live/rescue usb

edit - just wiped and repartitioned the harddrive with puppy linux; setting up for a clean install of vsido  ;D

edit 2 - nice and smooth; fluxbox and xmonad as window managers this time around:
