Hi, I would like to suggest a lighter color link which would provide better contrast against the dark background. Before I joined Vsido, I came to this site several times and left right away each time because I couldn't read the topics on the main page and subforums.

Examples:
http://www.vsido.org/
http://www.vsido.org/

I'm not saying orange is the way to go, but maybe a lighter color blue. Also, it might be good to lose the link decoration (underlining).

Well...just a thought. Thanks!  8)

I find this forum quite easy to the eye and bearable. I'm very picky with that. Compared with many others out there I didn't wanted to runaway at the very first minute.  :P

Colors are fine for me (though I'm not against a reasonable change). What I find strange is how damn big are all the default fonts in Vsido ( totally hate it. The very first thing I do after install Vsido is downsizing every damned font in the system and apps ). Contrary, the forum is well in the tiny font size end. Still within the limits of my comfort zone but trully small. (I'm getting old)

I totally favor a step up in the font size. Not damned big as per Vsido defaults (please) just a notch. And totally favor removing the links underline.

this could be a monitor issue for me...colors are wildly different on different computers...

That's very possible. That's the reason why I switched from my usual cheapo monitors and spent sone good money on a photographer grade one. One of my best buys ever, and my eyes fully agree.

maybe it was my monitor...or my junky PC I just replaced with another one with a decent graphics card. It is looking better now. BTW, I love the top graphic here at Vsido...very inspired.
