I built a new machine and decided to do a fresh install and ran into a weird issue.
New machine specs:
Asus z390m motherboard
Intel i9 9900k cpu
Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card
64GB DDR4 ( corsair vengeance 2400) Ram
Storage: 250gb m.2 nvme (Adata XPG), 250gb m.2 sata (Sandisk), 2 1tb Patriot SSD's (raid0) and a 4tb seagate drive.
I was getting a weird kernel panic at first but updating fixed that I think.
The issue I had was that when the installer started checking for drives to configure it seemed to stall out but wasn't actually frozen because it responded when I closed the installer.
Disconnecting the two patriot ssd's allowed the installer to find the drives and my install only took a few seconds once I got passed there.
Any ideas what would cause the installer to stall out like that? Doesn't seem to be hardware related as it's all new (except the sandisk sata m.2) and I don't get any errors other than that.
