VSIDO Discussions / Re: Chromium or Iceweasel
March 24, 2014, 05:25:39 PM
I would vote for Iceweasel. Though I don't use it much. But when it comes to choosing between Iceweasel and Chromium, I would only say 'Better the devil you know'  ;)
Personally I've always been opera fan! It is light on resources and even with dozens of open tabs it doesn't drag the system down. Even on low specs machines opera runs super fine. It is available for and runs on almost anything and everything that can display a webpage  8)
I can keep my bookmarks synchronized between all my devices and operating systems with ease. It natively supports Chat services. Opera always has the best browser user interface. And for me it's killer feature is the built-in mail client. The best email experience out there. Only thing that can go against is, It is non-free, But hey so has been every single girl that came in my life  :P

Cheers!!!

@lwfitz is right. It is most likely a locale related issue. Here is a link to a bit old but very useful page,

Did you connect the drive from another machine to the same motherboard port where the original drive was connected?

The Black Crowes-She Talks to Angels-Lyrics

"She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she'll tell you she's an orphan
After you meet her family."

I once knew a girl just like the one mentioned in the song.

How To's / Re: Lightweight pdf viewers
February 24, 2014, 06:00:32 AM
I thinky there is a typo. It's 'apvlv' not 'apviv'. So you can try again with,
sudo apt-get install apvlv

And regarding copying text in qpdfview press Ctrl+C, use the mouse to select an area and then click on copy text.
Cheers!!!

OOPS! My mistake! Thanks for correcting it VastOne!
epdfview is available for i386, amd64 and many other architectures in Debian wheezy and squeeze repos. In Debian sid repo epdfview is only available for m68k port.
By the way this topic should be moved to 'General Support'.
Cheers!!!

Mark Knopfler released 'privateering' in 2012. It is easily one of the best double albums of recent time. Here is the title track from it,

... Question: Everyone likes it, so, what's so good about Rox terminal? ...
It ROX! Seriously speaking it has many features that can make life inside terminal easy. And you can configure ROXTerm with different options and save the configs as different profiles and switch between them on the fly. More info here,

^ That's right. Tupelo Honey was my song choice at my wedding.

She's as sweet as tupelo honey
She's an angel of the first degree
She's as sweet as tupelo honey
Just like honey from the bee

How Romantic!!!
