Not at all.  Your image was fine this time.  My hard drive wonked out on me for some reason.

I'm going to wait until you get off remastersys so I can install it how I want it from the start or until you get some official repos that I can use to upgrade my system to from debian wheezy or something.

That way I won't have to pester with this silly stuff that I wouldn't have to deal with if I weren't editing fstab and the like.

the entire hard drive is trobling me.  I've got a buch of 9999999999's on my screen after boot.

Well I got it this time.  This is pretty and really it shows a lot of effort went into it to make it nice.

The only thing I am missing from what I's like to have is a config editor for tint2 like what exists in sparky linux.  As it is I installed AWN just because I can edit it easily enough.

Did grub install?  I am having problems with grub on my system
#6
The terminal window for it stays open and nothing happens.

I'm not familiar with grub.  Is there a good way to install it manually before reboot?

VSIDO Discussions / Re: The vsido remastery thread

Well, linux mint debian edition uses a great installer, have you considered it?

I get so many errors on my other systems trying to enumerate the usb ports properly in all the 3.8 kernels...

Thanks for the welcome and hello to you!

That's too bad about not having your own repo...  It might be just as well then to edit fstab.  That doesn't sound too difficult.

Harder for me might be getting grub to install.  I'm installing now and the terminal window that opens when grub installs is hanging.  If i close it, I wont have grub on reboot...  tried it once.

General Support / Problems with Remastersys Install
April 27, 2013, 09:10:32 AM
Too few options....

I have a swap outside of my extended partition, then inside my extended partition i want a separate boot. root, temp, and /home/user/downloads directories.

Since I can't do that with remastersys, can I install debian squeeze or linux mint debian edition and upgrade to vsido by adding your repos?  will I end up with vsido if i do?  I was looking and didn't see anything specific that was debian related except for one directory about aposid.

Will this work?  Are your configs in the repos?

OR is there another way to setup my hard drive partitons after install.

THANKS!!!

Thanks for welcome!  Yes this did download perfectly this time!

It took quite a while for the email to verify my account to come through...  I had given up hope.

Now that I am in the forum and have a working copy - WOW!  What a pretty fluxbox and hardly uses any memory!  Sweet!  I need to edit that conky though.  Not liking that conky setup or the remastersys because it limits my install options too much.  BUT WOW HOW PRETTY!  You obviously put a lot of WORK into this project.  An official spin would be great using the actual debain installer or the linux mint debian edition one.  I might could help with that if you were interested.  Haven't tried it before but i get the idea.

Ok, so next I'm  install.  Be back a little later!  And THANKS for making this!
